Proposals for masterclass speakers invited for IFC 2025
The Resource Alliance has opened its call for masterclass speakers to present at the 2025 International Fundraising Congress in Holland.
The invitation was announced just two weeks after the 2024 International Fundraising Congress took place in its traditional location in the Netherlands.
The Resource Alliance works globally to strengthen the social impact sector by bringing together a highly-engaged community of fundraisers, campaigners, and activists and connecting them with the resources and collaborative networks they need to support their work. They have been hosting the International Fundraising Congress since 1981, making it is the world’s longest-running fundraising conference.
Masterclass proposals are welcomed from every country.
About masterclasses
Masterclasses at the International Fundraising Congress are “intensive, expert-led, small group sessions”. They are held a day ahead of the main conference programme.
They offer participants the opportunity of a deep exploration of essential topics and trends that impact the sector. They are selected in response to the changing needs of the community, with this year’s masterclasses having focused on topics such as localised and community-led fundraising, the changing face of international aid, purpose-led work, innovative financing models, collaboration and communication, and AI and tech trends.
Workshops
The IFC also offers a range of workshops which are shorter, typically 75-minute sessions for the main part of its programme. A call for proposals for these will be issued separately.
Ruby Chadwick, Director of Programmes at the Resource Alliance, said:
“As always, masterclasses at IFC 2025 will cover a range of key areas for participants from across the nonprofit and social impact sector. The rise of right wing governments across the world and the result of the US elections will have wide-ranging impacts on our work and on our fundraising. It is critical that those of us working to protect human rights, prevent climate change, and build a better world for us all are equipped to do so and supported to build an interconnected network of change.”
She added:
“We are looking to hear from a diverse group of thought leaders and industry experts working in different contexts globally to share their insight, knowledge, and skills with next year’s delegates.”
The International Fundraising Congress returns to Noordwijkerhout in the Netherlands from 14 to 17 October 2025 and will be presented in a hybrid format.
Masterclass proposals can be made to the Resource Alliance, and the closing date is 6 January 2025.
